Grey Barn Management is a Sonoma County-based Owner’s Representative firm, advocating for owners in real estate development throughout the site selection, planning, design, construction, and closeout phases of their projects.  We assist owners in hiring the right professionals and defining the roles of all team members, including that of the owner, in order to keep the project on time and on budget.   We advocate for owners throughout the construction process, leveraging technology to increase client visibility and team member accountability to drive cost savings and meet project deadlines.  Our clients have big dreams for their investments, and our purpose is to provide the most direct, efficient, and cost effective path from concept to keys.

 

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Tim’s passion for Real Estate began in 1994, earning his way through college working for a General Contractor.  After graduating from the University of San Diego with a BBA in Management and Marketing, he worked for a Real Estate Investment Trust in Menlo Park, CA.  The allure of Silicon Valley drew Tim to Information Technology sales, where he spent the next 15 years working his way up to larger companies and responsibilities.  Most recently managing sales teams for Cisco Systems responsible for over $125M dollars annually, Tim has extensive experience running teams contributing to a common goal.

In 2005, he purchased his first project in San Francisco and learned about Real Estate development the hard way.  Multiple projects of increasing size later, Tim left sales in 2014 to focus on development full time. 

Grey Barn Management was founded to keep up with requests from other owners wanting help managing their Real Estate investments and navigating the development process.

Tim resides in Healdsburg, CA with his wife and 2 children.
